BENTLEY 'OLD NO.1' BY RACING GREEN
Built by Racing Green Engineering in 2018, this Bentley Special “Old No. 1” pays homage to the original 1929 factory race car.
Finished in this gorgeous shade of dark blue and now UK-registered, it’s ready for rallies, road trips, or simply weekend drives to the pub.
The car is based on a 1948 Bentley Mk VI chassis and powered by Bentley’s 5.7L straight-8 B80 engine – which really does sound the absolute business!

The externally operated 4-speed Bentley gearbox is remarkably user-friendly and is geared such that the car is more than happy to cruise at 80mph all day long.
After acquiring the car in 2018, the current owner embarked on a number of long-distance European road trips, including a couple of return visit to Monaco, as well as participating in some historic regularity rallies (e.g. 2019 Flying Scotsman).
What’s more, the owner commissioned Racing Green to carry out some upgrades to improve comfort and practicality:

This really is quite a remarkable piece of engineering, and frankly impossible not to love from behind the wheel.
